a white christmas.. suprise "bakery" carrage rides AND IT'S ONLY FRIDAY!! :-)
things were amazing!! this was, for sure, no doubt, the best Christmas i have ever had. i had my family all around me.. Mike's family and Kitty.. i had scrabble and nappy time with Mike..
the epitome of beautiful was the last three days. my relationship with someone extremely close to me blossomed and got 50 times better.. if that's even possible. the food was amazing, and so was the wine ^_^. seeing a little sibling's face light up when they open up my present (pimp dice) has to be the warmest feeling on earth. the traditions are warm and pleasant..
i've gotten new ideas that i'd LOVE to present to SADD.. or anyone! V-Day will be a day of great healing..
it all wants to make me cry.. it was so beautiful.
"and so this was Christmas."

My inner child is six years old!
Look what I can do! I can walk, I can run, I can
read! I like to do stuff, and there's a whole
big world out there to do it in. Just so long
as I can take my blankie and my Mommy and my
three best friends with me, of course.

talent: expressing strong feelings and views through poetry
ok.. here's what i'm so angry about this morning. some "friend" of mine (who i found out was totally and completely bisexual....don't get me wrong. i'm not against it. i'm just suprised.) made a blog. ok.. that's understood, hah. everyone and their dog has a blog. but seriously, she had a little "blurb" about who she is and what she's good at. supposidly her "talents" include giving ()@$*%@% and writing poetry and "expressing strong feelings and views" through it. ROSIE has talent. ee cummings had talent.
roses are green
i broke my spleen
all over the love of you
IT ISN'T POETRY. IT'S CRAP. how dare you call it poetry! read some ee! read some Walt! read some Emily!! those are poets! writing mindless blab in the form of some gay ass sonnet isn't imaginative. you shouldn't have to sit-and-concentrate while writing a poem. it should come freely. poetry is an art. don't fucking abuse it with lyrics from ludacris. using someone else's poetry (or lyrics) isn't artful. (unless used in an artful way.. which clearly it wasn't.)
but whatever.. if that's what you want to call talent. personally, someone who has a hell of alot of artistic talent with this stuff is Rosie.
alright. whoo.. i probably sounded like an idiot ranting like that.. like i honestly believe that someone could write poetry that is just.. trash.. and still be good. i guess her efforts should be celebrated, but before you go announcing to the world that you're the best poet ever, maybe you should let someone who understands the English language read it over.
whatever. maybe it's just my taste. i'd like to think of myself as a very open person. i guess it's poetry..
:-/
it's just not something to publish. or.. quote..
i'll write back soon. sorry for the yucky post.

b-ball game. Fremd won. the score went up in the 30's. yay! go girls' basketball. :-/
they have to be the dullest things on earth, women's games. first, there's nobody there ever. the room is empty and it is soooo dull. none of the guys' b-ball team was there even. just a couple of hard-core parents. but then again, what do you expect from a high school girls' basketball game? not much else.
Brian had his lil drama last night. he started crying because some guys were making fun of him. maybe he should just.. blend in and not stick out like a fruit amongst all the vegetables.
i made figgy pudding with Mike last night. lol. i love watching him cook. it's adorable.
for some odd reason, my hand really hurts today. like, the back of my hand really hurts. i wonder what's going on.
i'm so glad the sousaphones got on TV. yay! they were basically on every news program Thursday night. :-)
i really really realllllly wanna go downtown this weekend. i love the city in the winter. you don't understand how beautiful it is!! i love watching the people, i love the Magnificant Mile, State Street and Marshall Fields. i especailly loooooooooove Chicago hot dogs. my god, what i would do for a Chicago hot dog!!!!!
5 more days until Christmas Day!
4 more days until Christmas Eve!
Happy Dreidle day #2!!

yeah.
Brian Hess is a fucking moron.
i hate him. TC was kindof a let-down. next year, i'll def. seperate myself from the morons. i'm just kind of tired of school.
there's this new "femanist" group thing going around. some people have the most interesting opinions about it.
today was fun. it was laid-back and just a good time. plus, i got to watch Finding Nemo in espanol (subtitles).
Suzie is a really good, kind, warm-hearted person. i enjoy talking to her and being around her because she makes the mood very light and positive. i love people like that. sometimes, after spanish i see these two people in the hallway.. it makes me feel happy for 'em. they look good together and it really makes you think that love truly exists.
i have come to the conclusion that it's true love when you feel the love forever. ie.. you break up with your bf, but you still love him. you broke up with him because something wasn't right.. but you can't stop loving him because of that problem.
sometimes i wonder if the "perfect" relationship ever ends at all. on one hand, if you love someone so deeply, and the feeling is mutual, you wouldn't give them up for nothing. but.. of coarse problems do arise, making my other idea that a relationship needs to have a problem or two.. just to solve.
i'd like to announce that i think i am artsy. i was drawing some great cartoons today. if you ask nicely, i'll let ya see 'em.
i'm pretty proud of myself. it was a long post.. one of the first ones in quite a few weeks.
have a nice weekend. :-)

"You must remember this, a kiss is still a
kiss". Your romance is Casablanca. A
classic story of love in trying times, chock
full of both cynicism and hope. You obviously
believe in true love, but you're also
constantly aware of practicality and societal
expectations. That's not always fun, but at
least it's realistic. Try not to let the Nazis
get you down too much.
